have you ever wanted to change you hard disk partition drive letter in your my computer, are you sick of the name D, or C, you want to put your own letter like O or T for example !!

well the good news it is easy , bad news i am not sure if you can do it safely on the bootable drives , but other drives you sure can rename them easily

all you have to do is to go to your control panel / Administrative Tools/ computer Management

there you select from the left menu “Disk Management” then just right click on the disk drive that you want to change its letter and click on “change drive letter and paths” then click on “change”

and here you are , you can simply select the new letter ( make sure it is not already used)
